Interim IT leadership combining operational continuity with data integration, ERP replacement selection, stronger security standards, Power BI reporting, and custom procurement-system delivery.
Morrison Energy required interim technology leadership while addressing fragmented data, legacy-system constraints, reporting limitations, procurement workflow gaps, and the need for stronger security standards.
Operational and management information was distributed across Salesforce, project Excel reporting, and the legacy ERP system, limiting the organization’s ability to combine and report consistently across those sources.
LPMS provided interim IT leadership from April 2023 through July 2024. The mandate combined day-to-day technology leadership with a broader systems-transformation program covering data integration, management reporting, ERP replacement selection, security standards, and procurement workflow development.
LPMS combined interim operational leadership with a staged transformation program. A unified data foundation was established across Salesforce, project reporting, and ERP information, with Power BI reporting developed on top of that consolidated warehouse.
The ERP replacement process was led around business requirements, operating-model fit, reporting needs, integration requirements, governance, and implementation considerations. Security standards were strengthened alongside the broader systems work.
For procurement, LPMS led the design and implementation of a custom requisition system built around the organization’s workflow and connected it to the legacy ERP system.
